Terms and Conditions
At Red Gecko Tours, we take pride in delivering exceptional services to our valued guests. Your satisfaction is our utmost priority, and we promise to make your journey truly unforgettable. By reserving your spot via phone or email, you are considered to have read and accepted our booking conditions and terms.
Required Deposit and Balance Payment
If you pay full amount of reservation through Onepay Merchant at the time of booking, you are waived of 3% service fees. In case of cancellation, we will make a refund as the cancellation policy (with 3% transaction fee is charged by you).
If you pay a deposit only through Onepay Merchant, you are waived 3% of the service fees for the deposit only. If you pay the remaining balance on day of check in by Visa/Master Card, you are borned 3% extra for service fees.
Your Reservation is confirmed once payment has been paid by credit card and must be received by Red Gecko Tours Management. All Confirmations are generally given by return e-mail within 2 working days. In case immediate confirmation is not possible, we will inform you of the booking status at the time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy: Charges and Refund
We understand that plans may change, and should you need to cancel your reservation, please take note of our cancellation fees:
- Change the departure date 31 days in advance: Free of charge
- Change the departure date 16 to 31 days in advance: 30% of the total service value
- Change the departure date 09 to 15 days in advance: 50% of the total service value
- Change the departure date 05 to 07 days in advance: 70% of the total service value
- Change the departure date 03 to 04 days in advance: 80% of the total service value
Services are Cancelled by us: In the rare occurrence of dramatic problems like natural disasters, epidemics, or political issues, we may cancel the contract. In such cases, clients will be fully refunded for all booked services. If there are any rising service costs during that time, clients will only pay based on the actual amount.
Refund Situation: All cancellations must be received in writing via email. Before processing a refund, all relevant documents must be returned to Red Gecko Tours. Please note that the refund does not include service fees for payment by credit card or online payment. No refunds will be made for unused services or no-shows. The refund process may take up to 15 days to appear in your bank account statement.
Insurance and Travel Documents
For your safety and peace of mind, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance before departing for Vietnam and joining our tours. It is also essential to obtain a valid passport, visas, public health documents, and travel insurance for your journey in Vietnam.
Belongings, Personal Property and Lost Items
While we provide transfer services for luggage directly, we advise keeping valuables, fragile or perishable items, and electronic devices (computer, mobile phone, etc.) in your handbag. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to such items stored in packed luggage. We strictly prohibit bringing flammable and dangerous goods on board, including firearms, ammunition, and weapons.
In case of loss or damage to personal belongings, report it to us immediately, and we will work together to find a solution. Our staff takes care of this issue and reports any missing items after the cruise. If you forgot your items on board, please provide specific information, and we will make every effort to return them to you. However, we are not responsible for any missing items reported after you have returned home or moved to another destination.
Passengers' Details and Dietary Information
All Guests are requested to submit all passenger details at least 24 hours prior to check-in of passengers (Full name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Passport number, Vietnam Visa expiry date, Contact number). All Dietary Restrictions should be informed at least 24 hours prior to check-in to ensure that we can prepare your meals to the highest standard.
We strive to maintain the highest standards and follow the itinerary precisely. However, please note that we are not responsible for any problems arising from bookings or services we do not directly control. For the safety of your luggage, we provide security boxes at our reception desk on board. We have no responsibility for mental or physical injury, illness, loss, or death that was not the result of a physical injury or intentional infliction by us.
Dispute Resolution
In the unlikely event of a dispute, Red Gecko Tours and/or a third party will adhere to Vietnamese law.
